I'm 2 this week

Hello everyone! There is something really important happening this week....my birthday! I will be the big 2! I am having my party on Sunday and it is going to be a tractor party! Grandma and Stephanie are working on my cake this weekend. I can't wait to see it. I am sure I will say "tractor". I am totally obsessed with monster trucks right now. Ever since I went to the monster truck show with mommy and daddy, that is all I can think about. I watch it on tv all the time and play with them on the living room floor. Mommy says that is great because she has not had to clean my play room for 3 weeks. I get all of my trucks and tractors and matchbox cars out and talk all about it. I like to make sure everyone is giving me my full attention so I say, "see" a lot. I just want to make sure everyone sees what I am doing and what I am watching. I am an entertainer that is for sure. I am always on stage and it is my favorite thing to do. I love to show off. I like to dance and be a stunt man. I enjoy diving off of the couch and jumping off anything that I can find. I have lots of bumps and bruises but that is ok, I am tough! I overheard mommy telling daddy that it is his job to get me outside this Spring and start working with me on my throwing, catching and kicking. Really? Do I have to start that already? I think Uncle Chris would say YES!!! He would probably say I should have started long before now. Oh well, I am sure if it involves throwing things and kicking things that I will have fun. I have been getting outside a little more since the weather has been above freezing. I like to play in the front yard and usually I stay right in front of the house. My mom however, found me in the middle of the street the other day. She yelled really loud and I don't know why. I was just playing in the puddles. I heard her say it is a good thing we live where we do as there are very few cars that go down our street. I have a doctors appointment on Friday. I guess I have to get shot or something. I don't know, I guess I will find out when I get there. All I know is that I don't have to go to Aja's and I get to stay home with Grandma that afternoon. Speaking of Aja, I have been a real stinker at drop offs in the mornings. I give my mom and Aja are really hard time. I say no, I scream, I cry, I throw things and I have been trying to hide in the car every morning. I just do it for show because I love going to Aja's and I play all day long. I don't even want to leave when mommy comes to pick me up half the time. I don't know why I do it, maybe I should stop. We will see about that!!!! Well, I think it is about time to eat some lunch and take a nap. I will let everyone know how the birthday party goes and what presents I get. I hear mommy and daddy have something pretty cool. I even heard daddy ask mommy if I could help him put it together. I think she yelled at him and said "No" or "duh" or something like that. She does that all the time to him. Take care! Hurry up Spring!

BRRRR.....

Wow, it is really cold outside! I still like to play in this snow thou. The only thing I hate about this cold weather is how cold my hands get. I come inside and cry because they are so cold. My mom didn't buy me very good gloves this winter....I don't think she thought I would be spending so much time with my hands in the snow in these frigid temperatures. I love playing with and eating the snow. I have a water table that mom put on the porch and every afternoon when I come home from Aja's I spend about 45 minutes out there playing with the snow. I love to shovel too. I help Daddy and Pa shovel. I might have a job when I get older....I am really good at it...just ask Pa. Pa said I am supposed to take it off the driveway, but I prefer to take from the pile on the side and place it ON the driveway. I got to hang out with my Aunts and Uncle last weekend and had a blast. I always have a great time when Uncle Chris comes to town. I wish he lived here. I got to pick him up from the bus station and take him back when it was time for him to leave. Now every time I see a bus or a picture of a bus I talk about Chris and how he went bye-bye. I hope he comes home again soon. My birthday is coming up soon and I can't wait for my party. Mommy said it is going to be a Tractor party. I can't wait to be the center of attention and eat cake and open presents. I love parties. I have been working very hard on my talking the last few weeks. Mommy said I need to start saying words so that people other than her can understand what I am saying. I have been doing a very good job of pointing to things and saying to mom, "what's that". Hopefully after mom tells me 100 times what everything is, I will be able to say them too. Aunt Stephanie bought me some color tabs for my bath water and I am very addicted to them. We will never be able to have plain bath water again. I think every color is blue, but mommy tells me there are other colors. I am supposed to only put 1 tab in, but sometimes I am really quick and get 2 or 3 in before she can stop me. I am becoming very independent lately. My favorite thing to say is, "B do". Mommy said she really hates it. When mommy does not let B do, I get really mad and have a temper tantrum. Speaking of temper tantrums, I have been getting really good at those too. I have a special time out chair in the dining room and mommy is no longer afraid to send me to it. The other night I was so mad that she made me go up to my room until I was calm. I just get so mad at her sometimes and she just does not understand that if she would just let me do what I want to do that we would not have these problems. Someday she will learn! I really like my new sister, she is a cutie. I can't wait until she is old enough to play with. she is pretty boring right now and every time I get close to her everyone tells me to be careful and be nice and be gentle. Come on people, do you know me? There is nothing gentle and careful about me. I have had to go to timeout a few times because I was not careful and gentle and nice to her. I didn't mean to, I am just crazy and sometimes I get a little carried away. I am really excited because I am going to the Monster Truck Nationals on Saturday night with mommy and daddy. Mommy and I have been watching monster trucks on tv every morning for a really long time and I love them. Mommy has been reading me a monster truck book at night and I have been practicing covering my ears because she said they are loud. I will be the judge of that. I am kind of crazy in that I like loud noises and dark rooms, unlike most kids my age. I however might just be a little different than most kids. I have not been so obsessed with Wizard of Oz lately. We left the movie at grandma and Pa's house on accident and every time we go there we forget to take it home. Do you think mommy really "forgets"? Well, my baby needs to tell everyone about her happenings so I better let her. Take care and stay warm everyone!
